NJ Silva edits Feature Film 'Dumar'

New project is coming up!!!

From next week NJ will start editing the first film of a trilogy created by british director Aaron Thomas.
'Dumar' is an exciting and thought provoking story set in the middle of the current world financial crisis.

The post-production of the film starts next week, the film will have its unveiling at the Cannes Film Festival  and it will be released in October 2012.

'Castles' done and dusted

It was with great joy that we wrapped up the second and final day of shooting Penny Foster's debut music video 'Castles'. It was, as expected, crazy, flamboyant and fun. Lots of people in the sexiest day of the shoot.

Now the editing begins and in two weeks the video will come out of its shell.

Let the countdown begin.

On an intimate but highly creative environment, I've directed day 1 of Penny Foster's new music video "Castles". It was a very good shoot and a very good location in the heart of London.

There's still day 2 to go which will be a lot crazier.
Lets get ready for it...

New Projects

After all that I've done, I still like to embrace new challenges and new projects with my arms wide open.
I've met incredible and talented people in my life and always thought that we could stand together and do something really really positive.
I'm fortunate to find myself involved with creative and talented people, who take their art seriously enough to push through the hard walls that we currently face.

New projects are on the horizon like music videos, a few promos, art videos and luckily a feature film. It looks like 2011 is going to end the best possible way and seems that 2012 will be a great year not only for myself, but also for all my talented and creative friends.

Let's keep on pushing.

Thank you Steve Jobs

Today, like millions of people around the world, I woke up to the news of the passing of Steve Jobs. A genius in his own right, a visionary that changed the world forever. Without his revolutionary ideas the planet as we know it, would not exist.

As a filmmaker I would like to thank Steve Jobs and all at Apple Inc., all the input that he and his company made to my industry. He turned many people's dream into a reality, including mine.

Thank you Steve. The world will never forget you.

Another Fest for 'Yael'

The World War II short film has been nominated for yet another festival.

Almost three years after the start of pre-production, this short film is still going strong in the festival circuit.
This time is London's "The Smalls Film Festival". An original concept of film festival with the nominated films being screened on... iPods.
The Festival starts on the 21st of September and the awards ceremony is on the 22nd.
